Psychotherapy is a process of understanding and transforming your thoughts, emotions and behaviors together, in a safe and confidential space. What all the methods I use have in common is that they are grounded in scientific evidence and adapted specifically to you.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is the most researched therapy method in the world. It addresses how our thoughts, emotions and behaviors influence one another. It helps you notice negative, unrealistic thought patterns, replace them with more functional thoughts, and build new coping skills. It is especially effective for anxiety, depression, panic and phobias.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Mindfulness, which I have practiced since 2014, is the ability to notice the present moment without judgment. It is a powerful support for coping with stress, reducing anxiety and strengthening emotional balance. I use breathing and awareness exercises as a natural part of therapy.
- Individual psychotherapy
- Couples & marriage therapy
- Sex therapy
- Stress and anger management
Note: You don't have to be in a "very bad" state to start therapy. You can also seek support to know yourself better, protect your boundaries, or get through a difficult period.
How does the process work?
In the first session I try to understand you and your expectations. Then we determine the therapy method and session frequency that suit you, together. A therapy session usually lasts 45–50 minutes. Throughout the process we regularly review your progress and adjust the plan to your needs.
